This princess collection of bedtime stories is sweetly illustrated and I liked how each story usually had some sort of a moral lesson or theme. Unfortunately though, I found these stories rather boring.

My daughter enjoyed these stories. They're brief but usually not too shallow, and they were usually relatable to a little girl (with a few exceptions, like anniversary gifts). I wasn't the biggest fan of some of the messages (disguise yourself to defy your father's express wishes (backed by genuine concern), and as long as you win all is forgiven!), but for the most part they were good, or at least harmless. I spend most every night reading this and the Disney Princess Collection to my daughter at bedtime. She can read it for herself but it's not the same when mommy can read it to her. If you child loves the Disney Princesses then I recommend reading this one to them. It is a great bonding experience for parent and child. Well... it isn't horrible, but by the end it is rather mind numbing. Great book for bedtime and for getting kids interested in reading, but the princess theme gets tiresome. This is a great collection of stories. They are perfect to read at bedtime; most are about 10 pages long, and have very nice illustrations.
They use Disney characters to tell a cute short story.

I really enjoyed reading these tales! There were so many that I had never read before; and most of the stories were very good!

The story I most enjoyed, was with Belle, and it was titled Star Stories.

"Suddenly, a pack of fierce wolves began to chaste her!" Chip shouted, making everyone gasp. "The girl was terrified but she was determined to escape. She ran through the woods, but the wolves followed.

They surrounded her. She was sure they were going to devour her. And then, out of nowhere, the Beast showed up and attacked the wolves! He roared and snarled, fighting off the vicious wolves.

He tossed one of the wolves so far that it went up, up, up into the sky, where it turned into a constellation for everyone to see. And there it is, to this day, as a reminder not to hurt the Beast's friends.!"

If I were still a nanny, I would definitely have the little ones, make their own constellation, name it, and explain the history behind the it!

*It was nice to revisit familiar characters with new and simple story lines. They were an easy light read before bed. The length of each story surprised me, being longer than I thought they would be. The illustrations are colorful and pleasant to look at. As with most spin offs, these stories are not as good as the originals, but for what they are I enjoyed reading them.

Another Princess storybook collection I picked out from the library because it has Disney princesses. I don't like this one quite as much as some of the other collections because the "menu" or index doesn't have pictures of the princesses by them. I like when they have little pictures so I can tell my mom which story I want her to read. Another Princess storybook collection I picked out from the library because it has Disney princesses. The artwork in this book is stunning, though some of the stories are less pretty than the others. As an adult that has loved Disney I'm always drawn to the art.

I'm always curious who the illustrators are, and sadly this book doesn't say. They should have their names in this book along with writers.

The stories are very simple, but they are written for children.

Not sure why they labeled this 'bedtime' stories as the stories aren't related to sleep and or getting ready for bed. But it still is a nice storybook that you can read at bedtime for your little person. Filled with various stories about Disney's characters. Who doesn't love to spend more time with the Disney Princesses? This collection includes four stories to share with loved ones before turning out the lights to go to sleep. Featured in the book are Ariel, Belle, Pocahontas and Cinderella. Who doesn't love to spend more time with the Disney Princesses? This was adorable. I got it as a gift to read to my yet-to-be born niece, and it has a lot of really fun stories (there are a few duds, but not many). I loved getting to see the princesses' lives outside of their movies.

I have only had it since yesterday when my step dad brought it for me at Wal-Mart. I like reading it

These stories are the perfect length for a tale each night before bed. A wonderful way to keep the magic of each Disney classic alive with further tales of the kids favourite princesses.

God bless all the parents out there that have spent their valuable time reading 300 pages that could probably be written in 30. This is a collection of subpar stories with "Disney princess" packaging - worth the time to any kid - but this does not mean it is worth their time (or ours). I know the original fairy tales tend to be dark, but at least they have a compelling story. The fact that my children will never see this book again is not a bad thing - it will be better in the long run. Walter Elias "Walt" Disney (December 5, 1901 – December 15, 1966) was an American film producer, director, screenwriter, voice actor, animator, entrepreneur, entertainer, international icon, and philanthropist. Disney is famous for his influence in the field of entertainment during the 20th century. As the co-founder (with his brother Roy O. Disney) of Walt Disney Productions, Disney became one of the best-known motion picture producers in the world. The corporation he co-founded, now known as The Walt Disney Company, today has annual revenues of approximately U.S. $35 billion.

Disney is particularly noted for being a film producer and a popular showman, as well as an innovator in animation and theme park design. He and his staff created some of the world's most famous fictional characters including Mickey Mouse, a character for which Disney himself was the original voice. He has been awarded four honorary Academy Awards and has won twenty-two competitive Academy Awards out of fifty-nine nominations, including a record four in one year, giving him more awards and nominations than any other individual. He also won seven Emmy Awards. He is the namesake for Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort theme parks in the United States, as well as the international resorts Tokyo Disney, Disneyland Paris, and Disneyland Hong Kong.

Disney died of lung cancer in Burbank, California, on December 15, 1966. The following year, construction began on Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. His brother Roy Disney inaugurated the Magic Kingdom on October 1, 1971.

The Walt Disney Company (NYSE: DIS) (commonly referred to as Disney) is the largest media and entertainment conglomerate in the world in terms of revenue. Founded on October 16, 1923, by brothers Walt Disney and Roy Disney as the Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio, the company was reincorporated as Walt Disney Productions in 1929. Walt Disney Productions established itself as a leader in the American animation industry before diversifying into live-action film production, television, and travel. Taking on its current name in 1986, The Walt Disney Company expanded its existing operations and also started divisions focused upon theatre, radio, publishing, and online media. In addition, it has created new divisions of the company in order to market more mature content than it typically associates with its flagship family-oriented brands.

The company is best known for the products of its film studio, the Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group, today one of the largest and best-known studios in Hollywood. Disney also owns and operates the ABC broadcast television network; cable television networks such as Disney Channel, ESPN, and ABC Family; publishing, merchandising, and theatre divisions; and owns and licenses 11 theme parks around the world. On January 23, 2006, it was announced that Disney would purchase Pixar in an all-stock transaction worth $7.4 billion. The deal was finalized on May 5. On December 31, 2009, Disney Company acquired the Marvel Entertainment, Inc. for $4.24 billion. The company has been a component of the Dow Jones Industrial Average since May 6, 1991. An early and well-known cartoon creation of the company, Mickey Mouse, is the official mascot of The Walt Disney Company.
